Supported layouts and modes
- English-letter Arabizi convention with the 2/3/5/6/7/8/9 chat-number set
- Straight and curly apostrophe variants (e.g. 3, 3', 3’) all recognized identically
- Up to six different Arabic spellings when more than one word could be right
- Real numbers, decimals, dates, versions, and phone numbers are left untouched
Limitations
- 8 is genuinely unclear between غ and ق in real usage. The ranked choices, not a fixed rule, decide which fits the word.
- Depending on how you write, 9 can stand for ص or ق. Choose the word you meant.
- Digits 0, 1, and 4 are never treated as letter substitutions, matching real Arabizi convention.
