Space and the diacritics key keep bilingual wording — Space · مسافة and Diacritics · تشكيل — because a symbol alone would not make either one clear.

Use the Arabic keys on screen. Or type an Arabic word with English letters, like bikhayr. Choose the word you want from up to six suggestions. Then copy your text or save it as a picture or text file.

Type normally in English. Your own keys stay in English. If a word looks like it should become Arabic, a suggestion appears below the box, sometimes with up to six spellings to choose from. Apply it, or dismiss it. Nothing changes until you choose.

When you write in Arabic, a small AI model can use the words before it to put likely words first in the suggestion list. It only changes the order of words already on that list. The choices for words typed with English letters work separately. ArabicKeyboard.ai does not receive the text used for this ranking.
The first time you use it, your browser may download about 49 MB. If it can't load, the ordinary suggestions still work.

If Arabic is not installed, click the on-screen Arabic 101 keys below the editor. The QWERTY/AZERTY choice under Options does not remap your physical keys; it tells the wrong-keyboard repair which hardware layout to use.
Copy, Undo, and Redo are always available, and your typing is processed locally in your browser. The one deliberate exception is the two magnifying-glass keys: choosing one sends the text you are searching for to Google or YouTube, and only then.
Prefer an ordinary English keyboard? Type a word the way it sounds and a suggested Arabic result appears for you to review and apply — it never converts on its own.
Letter groups like sh, kh, and gh map to single Arabic letters; short vowels are genuinely ambiguous in Arabic spelling, so the ranked suggestion — not a fixed rule — decides between a written and a silent reading. This is phonetic transliteration, not translation or a perfect phonetic transcription system.
Arabizi (chat Arabic) uses ordinary letters plus a handful of numbers for sounds English letters can't spell — real numbers, dates, and phone numbers are always left untouched.
As with English-letter typing, a suggested Arabic word appears for you to review and apply. There may be up to six to choose from. It never rewrites your text on its own.
Meant to type Arabic, but your system layout was still set to Latin, so you got garbled characters like “sghl” instead of سلام? This tool reverse-maps each character by its physical key position — not by guessing at pronunciation — to recover the Arabic you meant to type.
It covers Latin characters typed while an Arabic layout was intended, on both real hardware conventions this product supports: Arabic 101/QWERTY and Arabic 102/AZERTY. The reverse case — Arabic script repaired back into Latin — is not offered. As with every other suggestion here, nothing changes until you review and apply the proposed repair.
Fatha, damma, kasra, sukun, shadda, and tanween are the small marks that show short vowels and pronunciation details Arabic script otherwise leaves out. Open the diacritics panel on the on-screen keyboard to add any of them directly to a letter.
Separately, a limited local suggestion feature can propose known vocalizations for individual words already in its dictionary — it does not vocalize full sentences or infer vowels from context, and every suggestion is optional to apply.

A free 60-second Arabic typing test: timing starts the moment you type your first character, so there's no separate “start” step to remember. It measures words per minute, characters per minute, accuracy, and error count against a short Modern Standard Arabic passage.
Nothing is saved or submitted anywhere — it's a private, one-off check of your current typing speed, not a tracked leaderboard.

Once you've learned where a handful of letters sit, physical keys don't need Arabic labels printed on them at all. A printable PDF and PNG version of the same reference is also available for offline practice.
