About ArabicKeyboard.ai

ArabicKeyboard.ai is a free, browser-based Arabic typing tool built for people who need to write Arabic on a keyboard that doesn't have Arabic letters on it — students, professionals, and anyone typing Arabic occasionally from an English-language QWERTY setup.

What it does

One codebase, two domains

ArabicKeyboard.ai and its French-market counterpart, ClavierArabe.ai, share one underlying conversion engine and codebase. ArabicKeyboard.ai is English-first and QWERTY-oriented; ClavierArabe.ai is French-first and AZERTY-oriented. Both process typed text locally, in your browser.

What it deliberately doesn't do

No accounts, no cloud history, no ads next to the typing tool, and no generic AI writing assistant. Dialect text (Moroccan, Egyptian) is never silently rewritten into Modern Standard Arabic. See the privacy pagefor exactly what is and isn't collected.

Data sources and attribution

Word suggestions are built from this project's own hand-curated entries plus two openly-licensed sources: example sentences from the Tatoeba project and its community of volunteer contributors, used under CC BY 2.0 FR; and word frequency data derived from Wikipedia, used under CC BY-SA 4.0. Neither source's original text is reproduced or stored — only aggregate word and phrase frequencies computed from it, entirely in the build pipeline, never from anything you type.
